Citing “irreconcilable editorial differences,” Signet dropped romance author Cassie Edwards. Apparently, “irreconcilable editorial differences” is what publishers call plagiarism.
The Los Angeles Times with more on the ‘young literary men,’ and their young literary journals. “Leading a contemplative literary life isn’t dead even in these hectic times,” but Christ on a cross, could it sound any more pretentious? Not to mention: boring.
Finally, great news via Neil Gaiman: in a major coup from the comic book legal defense fund, courts dismissed the case of Gordon Lee. Let’s hear it for that 1st Amendment!
